Women’s FEMPOWERMENT Immersion
A liberating women's only gathering open to ladies of all ages, shapes, colour and size.
Women’s Fempowerment Immersion
FEMPOWERMENT womens only Naked Yoga - for body positivity and self love- is a 3.5 hour empowering celebration of our naked bodies, honouring YOU and all of your divinity. It is about getting naked in both aspects of the word, physically and metaphysically.
It is a liberating women's only gathering open to ladies of all ages, shapes, colour and size.
What is FEMPOWERMENT?
Journeying through the form and formless, it is a gentle facilitation into vulnerability, self-acceptance, truth and union as you're guided through an alchemical integration of yoga, meditation, breath work, mantras and affirmations.
Held in a safe and honouring space to help you feel supported and nurtured, I invite you to give yourself permission to surrender. It is about undressing and addressing our body image woes through the shedding of layers, physically and emotionally. These workshops are here to facilitate you in letting go of current dogmas and limiting beliefs that are keeping you in a state of disempowerment.
I offer this immersion as an opportunity for women to enter into a safe and nurturing space in which we're afforded tools and techniques to do the work required in helping to rewire our neural pathways. Cultivating positive affirmations and mantras that can help us to let go of negative behavioural patterns. As we learn to, not only forgive others but also, forgive ourselves for any acts of self-sabotage that have previously kept us feeling unworthy, self-conscious, powerless and depleted, we can begin to wholly embrace our bodies and our Self. We then take these practices from the workshop and out into the world, learning how to integrate them into our daily lives.
In today's 'filtered age' of social media, along with the ever-changing ideals and standards thrust upon us, there is an enormous amount of pressure placed on body image, and so I believe that practicing body-positivity and self-love are more important than ever. Through the exploration of self-inquiry, we begin to lift the veil of illusion and enter into our deepest truth, embodying the beauty that is always, and was always, within and of you. This journey encourages you to delve into the depths of your femininity and reclaim your power and radiance.
Why naked yoga?
As a practicing yogi and qualified yoga teacher, I have come to understand that yoga is a journey through which we learn to reconnect with our inner light of awareness. For me, it has been a path of positive transformation spanning the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Teaching yoga is a way for me to help facilitate this inward journey. It is a form of guidance through which I am able to help inspire others to rediscover and strengthen this mind-body-heart-soul connection.
As such, and as part of the 3.5 hour workshop, I will guide you through a gentle 1 hour physical asana practice that honours you and your boundaries. The practice will be based on a gentle vinyasa style of yoga in which we will call on the more feminine yin energy within the poses. In honouring the naked aspect of the workshop, I respectfully incorporate a fusion of restorative ground poses as well as some more dynamic standing poses. Tailored to be a non-intimidating and non-invasive experience, the yoga sequence and poses offered will be accessible to first-timers and beginners, whilst still suitable for the more advanced yogi (suitable for ALL levels of experience). The naked aspect of the workshop is about identifying and breaking through our warped views of the human body that may be associated with and rooted in shame, sexuality, or vulgarity. Being involved in the nudist movement has helped me to differentiate between sexual and non-sexual nudity, something a lot of our society is yet to understand. A part of my cause is to help others to see and experience nudity in a non-sexual aspect and within a non-judgmental environment. I have set out to help others, especially females, to embrace our natural physical form, because it is our birthright as sovereign beings!
The connection of breath and movement in the physical practice of yoga helps us to cultivate this mind-body connection that is so vital to being body-positive.

What does being body-positive mean?
MY PERSONAL JOURNEY HAS LED TO ME UNDERSTAND BODY POSITIVITY AS BEING AT ONE WITH MY BODY WITHOUT BEING DEFINED BY IT.
I believe that being defined by our bodies is what creates the unhealthy relationship between the mind and body in the first place. Most of the time, we become defined by our bodies rather unconsciously, from the moment we enter into this world in this form. Whether it's because of cultural upbringing, societal conditioning, systematic patriarchal norms, personal experiences or pop culture, we are programmed to see ourselves in a way that serves anything but our Self and, if anything, puts us at odds with our own bodies. Being defined by the physical form can manifest itself in various ways. Narcissism, self-loathing or low self-esteem are prime expressions of this manifestation, and all of which tend to be rooted in superficiality and impermanence.
When we are defined by our bodies, it is usually within the limiting parameters of the unconscious mind. Often, we become attached to its stories, its 'problems', its 'glories', and as a result, our inner-growth and our ability to wholly accept ourselves can be stifled. For me, body positivity continues to be about discernment. It is about nurturing a healthy mind-body relationship and nurturing my body in a way that fosters the growth of my authentic Self.
I understand that the body positive journey is different and unique for each and every individual, but no matter what shape, size, age or colour you are, you should feel positive in your body. It is your right. You are worthy of your own acceptance and love.
I believe that our view of body image starts from deep within. Our own sense of self-esteem is usually a by-product of years and years of conditioning and programming, much of which is unconscious. Until we start to become aware of our own mind-body relationship, this unconscious conditioning tends to define our definition of 'beautiful', and even our own sense of worth.

We manifest the reality we exist in, and we are capable of creating an abundant reality in which we can thrive.
In today's 'filtered age' where the internet and social media have launched us into this sense of immediacy, unfortunately there also seems to be a heightened pressure on body image that comes with it, and it seems that it is at the expense of our self-esteem in some cases. Where systematic patriarchal norms have suppressed the divine feminine and cast a shadow of shame and burden, we must be the pioneers to steer it in a direction which ushers in acceptance, self love, positivity and union. Join me in transmuting fear and self-criticism into radical self-acceptance and love.
No matter where you're at on your journey of self-love and body positivity, these workshops are bound to have you feeling liberated, empowered, connected, nourished and revitalised. So I invite you to come along and join me for a transformative 3.5 hour journey as we flow into freedom and liberation.

FAQs
+ Do I have to get naked?
Yes.
Please note that it is a gentle facilitation and you’re able to do so at your own pace, but it is a NAKED yoga workshop focused on body positivity that you’re attending after all. What progress would we make in life if we didn’t challenge ourselves and push the boundaries a little? Plus, you’re in the privacy of a safe and honouring environment in which many of the other females may also be feeling just as nervous as you. Bring a friend along if that helps you to feel a little more comfortable.
We’re here to support one another, and I will be sure to create a space in which only love and acceptance are harboured.
+ What if I have my period?
We’re all females in the workshop and are aware of what comes with being a female. You may choose to either keep a tampon/moon cup in, or wear underwear if you wear a pad. Either way, it is advised that all participants bring a towel for hygiene purposes anyhow, so just remember to bring a towel also.
No casting of judgement here. I am all about embracing our moon cycle and believe it to be such a beautiful time of the month, so I would definitely still encourage you to come along.
+ What if I’ve never been naked in public before?
Well let this be a first! It is such a perfect environment for it. It is a non-confrontational and non-sexual environment in which you will be surrounded by other females who may be in the same boat and experiencing similar emotions. It is completely normal to experience fear, nervousness and anxiety in the lead-up to attending, and this is all a part of the journey. Acknowledge your emotions, process them and let them go.
Being naked in front of others for the first time is always a little nerve-racking, but once you remove the layers, it’ll begin to feel second-nature and you should begin to feel a little more comfortable as time goes on. You may not even want to put your clothes back on once we’re done!
The workshops are hosted in the evening, so it will be a candle-lit experience, providing for an ambient atmosphere that holds a sense of relaxation and serenity.
+ When do I get naked?
You’re more than welcome to undress as soon as you come in, or if you’re feeling a little nervous, you’re welcome to keep your robe on for the introduction and take it off when you’re ready.
+ Can I participate even if I have not done yoga previously?
Most definitely! We all have to start somewhere, and whilst it is a 3-hour workshop, only one hour of it will be dedicated to a physical asana (poses) yoga practice. The yoga offered will be accessible to first-timers and beginners, whilst still suitable for yogis of all levels of experience.
The sequence that I have constructed specifically for the workshops are more so a tool for allowing us to connect our mind, body, heart and soul as we feel into our bodies. It is offered as a practice to encourage us to become more attuned to our physical body and connect with it…such a powerful tool for the body-positive journey.
Again, it is a gentle practice that is tailored to be non-intimidating and non-invasive.
If you are after a more intensive and/or recreational physical nude yoga practice, I also offer 1-hour naked yoga classes (females-only and mixed classes available).
